Working Environments at M&C

A surprisingly large number of visitors to our homepage and especially readers of our News section are interested not only in our product innovations and the continuous further developments of the Group, but also in the various facets of the working environments at M&C.

We are delighted about this clear and somewhat unexpected focus. And we take this analysis result as an impetus to report on our modern workplaces and their unusual environments in the future in loose succession, but more frequently than planned so far.

To start with, these features will highlight the three German locations in Ratingen (North Rhine-Westphalia) and Aach (Baden-Wuerttemberg). Subsequently, our foreign companies and entities will be presented in texts and images.

We will begin today – so, welcome to M&C and the presentation of our “Breakers”!

The „Breakers“ Lounge

The “Breakers” in our new extension building at the Ratingen site is our staff lounge for breakfast, lunch and coffee in between, completely furnished and decorated in vintage industry style.

The comfortable dining areas and the additional open seating areas at the large floor-to-ceiling windows provide a pleasant pause from the work in our production facility and the adjoining offices and ensure relaxation during break times – if necessary, also air-conditioned.

Although our number of employees is not large enough to maintain a company canteen with food services, our “Breakers” with kitchen stove, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, high-quality program coffee machine and double dishwasher still offers many possibilities to prepare purchased or homemade food of all kinds.

The positive response during break times shows that the employees feel at ease there. Sometimes, even meetings with customers or market partners take place in the unusual atmosphere of the “Breakers”.

The “Breakers” has direct access to a large terrace, which we use in the summer and not only during the breaks – but we will gladly report about that in another post.

See you soon – maybe also at the “Breakers”?
