Environmental Statement

For us, treating our environment responsibly and sustainably is an essential part of our business activities. This approach shapes everything we do throughout the entire value chain – from developing innovative and durable products, through selecting suitable materials, to optimizing packaging, transport and proper disposal.

During the manufacture of our products, our aim throughout their entire life cycle is to consistently reduce harmful substances and, where possible, avoid them altogether. In particular, with regard to new raw materials or modified input materials, we systematically review their procurement and use, taking environmental protection into account.

Furthermore, we strive to work with local suppliers wherever possible in order to shorten transport distances and reduce the associated environmental impact.

We consider this approach to be a contribution to making Germany a sustainable and competitive industrial location. At the same time, our products support energy-efficient processes in many areas of application and help to reduce CO₂ emissions.

Where applicable to our products, we comply with the requirements of the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU and the German ElektroG. As a company registered with the EAR Foundation, we submit the required volume reports for the electrical and electronic equipment we place on the market. In doing so, we fulfil the relevant legal requirements regarding registration, take-back and recycling, whilst also contributing to the responsible disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
